Do not use MapQuest directions in winter/spring months. The directions below are the best route(s).
From the East, make your way to I-86 heading West:
Take I-86 to the Cuba Exit #28 turn Left heading South on Rt. 305. Go all the way through the town of Cuba on 305 S., past a large stone horse barn on the left. Continue on 305 approx. 1/2 mile from barn & turn right onto Haskell Rd (Rt 6). Continue on Haskell until you see a golf course on your right (maybe 5-6 miles). SHARP right turn onto Creek Rd. and continue to a Y in road, Veer left onto Jollytown road & JR is on the left just ahead.
From the West, make your way to I-86 heading East:
Take I-86 to the 2nd Olean Exit #26, this is the hospital exit. Turn Left onto Rt. 16 heading North. Go about 6 miles and turn Right onto Flanagan Road (hard to find so look for the Hinsdale Fire Dept sign) at the top of the hill veer right onto Jollytown Rd. (do not take Plank Road) Continue on Jollytown Road (past the stop sign) 2 miles down the hill until you see the JR sign - Turn right. SHERLOCK HOLLOW RD IS CLOSED - Do not try to go that way via GPS.
From the North - Buffalo area: (Approximately 1 1/2 hour drive from Buffalo)
Take 219 to Springville and turn Left onto 39 then Right onto Rt. 16 South.
Or:
Take 400 to the end where it turns into Rt. 16 South.
Follow Rt. 16 South through all those little speed trap towns. When you go under I-86 (stay on 16) you will go 1/4 more mile and turn Left onto Flanagan Road (hard to find so look for the Hinsdale Fire Dept. sign) at the top of the hill veer right onto Jollytown Rd. (do not take Plank Rd.) continue on Jollytown Road (past the stop sign) 2 miles down the hill until you see the JR sign - Turn right. SHERLOCK HOLLOW RD IS CLOSED - Do not try to go that way via GPS.
From the North - Rochester area: (Approximately 2 hour drive from Rochester/Webster)
• 390 South
• Exit 4 (Route 36/Dansville/Hornell)
• Turn Right onto 36S…drive quite a ways
• Merge onto 86W/17W (Jamestown/Southern Tier Expr.)
• Take the Cuba Exit #28
• Turn Left onto 305 S, past a large stone horse barn on the left. Continue on 305 approximately 1/2 mile from the barn
• Turn Right onto Haskell Road (Rt. 6).
• Continue on Haskell until you see a golf course on your right (5-6 miles).
• Make a SHARP right turn onto Creek Rd. and continue to a Y in the road.
• Veer left onto Jollytown Rd. & JR sign is on the left just ahead.
From the Southeast (PA):
Make your way to Rt 417 West.Go through Portville, Weston Mills and in another mile there is a traffic light and a bank on your left with a time and temperature sign. Turn Right onto Haskell Road. Go 5-6 miles and turn Left (actually straight) onto Creek Road. Go approx. 1/2 mile and turn Left onto Jollytown Road, go approx. 1/4 mile and you’ll see our sign on the Left.
From the Southwest (PA):
Make your way to Rt. 417 East. Go through Olean, past Bradner’s stadium, past Olean Tile, past the fruit markets and soon you’ll come to a traffic light and there will be a bank on the Right with a time and temperature sign where you’ll turn Left onto Haskell Road. Go 5-6 miles and turn Left (actually straight) onto Creek Road. Go approx. 1/2 mile and turn Left onto Jollytown Road, go approx. 1/4 mile and you’ll see our sign on the Left.
